Candy Corn is a bouncy JRT mix with an eagerness for life and for making new friends. She is friendly, eager to learn and excited about new adventures. She is a ball of energy that absolutely loves play time. Candy Corn also has a sensitive side, however. As energetic as she can be, she is also a perfect lap dog, and in her foster home happily spends hours lying down on the laps of or just lying with her foster parents when they watch TV. She really is the perfect combination of playmate and cuddle buddy. She has been known to get a little protective of children and of weaker dogs she feels need protection, and she can be grumpy when woken up, but these incidents are rare and can usually be countered quickly with a friendly voice and a treat. Because of her energy level, she would do best in a home with a yard and with either children or other dogs to wear her out. She is also very smart, and would probably do well with a family willing to put in some time training her on agility courses or in other ways that will stretch her brain.
