02-25-2012 (Week 4 in the Prison Program)

“Beauford loves to meet and greet people and is focused in the training sessions. He knows the down and stay command and walks well on the leash. Beauford likes sleeping in the crate and doesn’t bark in it. Beauford is loving and being a pup, he will look for you to tell him what to do next. He is getting bigger and older and is now on his “I want to do what I want to do” but as long as you stay on him he will get it right.”

02-18-2012 (Week 3 in the Prison Program)

“Beauford and I had a fun week this week doing the things in the training program. If he does something wrong and you tell him no-no, he will stop and go into his crate and lay down, put his paws over his face and then look up at you with a sad face. When you call him, he will come out of the crate and lick your hands and face like everything is alright now. He is a fun loving puppy and sometimes eats things he shouldn’t but that’s what pup’s do.”

02-11-2012 (Week 2 in Prison Program)

“Beauford is working on leash walking and not jumping on people. He has no problem going inside his crate when told and he doesn’t bark inside only outside if the other dogs are barking. He plays really well with the other dogs and when I throw the ball, he will fetch it and sometimes bring the ball back to me. Beauford likes to chew on my shoes and take them to his crate. He is doing really well with house-training and will hit the door to the crate to let me know he needs to go outside. Beauford will sit down and watch TV with me and act like he really knows what’s going on. If you are looking for a good friend, Beauford is the one.”

02-04-2012 (Week 1)

“Beauford is a loving pup. He is well-focused, happy-go-lucky and learns real quick. He can sit and stay and loves to be rubbed. He loves his crate and takes any and everything he can find to take in his crate. Beauford plays well with other dogs; there’s no fear in this pup. He still pulls on the leash like he is trying to get somewhere. He will stop for like 2 to 3 minutes and then back at it again. He has learned a lot for his first week in the program and for being so young.”

Beauford is a friendly little guy! He has lots of energy for running around the yard and playing with other dogs. He is eager to start learning the puppy basics, especially if treats are involved. Beauford doesn’t ask for much, just a warm bed, a few toys, and a family to call his own. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend, Beauford is your dog!
