Meet Charlie – an exuberant pit bull mix who is nothing more than a big teddy bear! Charlie has been waiting in foster care for the right family to notice him. Charlie is a happy, energetic dog who would be a good match for an active family or couple. Charlie loves attention and enjoys being with people and other dogs. He would be fine as an only dog or with a well matched companion dog. He loves to play fetch in the backyard and chase his toys but at the end of the day he wants nothing more than to cuddle with you and relax.

Charlie has his basic manners down. He is housetrained and cratetrained and knows sit, shake, stay, come and down. Charlie is a loyal companion and wants to do whatever you are doing, he is always ready for action! Charlie is still young and gets over-excited at times so his new home will need to know how to work with him to get his energy out. Charlie loves children but would probably do best in a home with slightly older children so he doesn’t knock them down in all his excitement!
