Sophie came to her Lost Dog Rescue foster home on a cold November afternoon on a transporter all the way from West Virginia. Sophie was very heavy with pups and scared but her sweetness still showed through. She soon had 5 wonderful pups and was a great mother. All of her puppies have been placed in forever homes and now it is her turn.
Sophie is a very loving dog who loves companionship and being in the company of people. She is happy to curl up on the couch with you while you are watching TV or snuggle up beside you in bed at night and is always very excited to see you when you come home. Sophie is a great travel buddy as she loves to ride in the car with you and go see the sites. She walks very well on a leash and is always holding her happy tail high. She does well with other dogs and currently lives with a large German Shepherd and a kitty. Sophie is quite trustworthy in the house but is also happy in her crate and would do better being in her crate when alone. Sophie would prefer a home where she would not spend long periods of time alone and she would love another canine friend in the home. Sophie is a great dog who will be a great companion for almost anyone.
