The mission of LDCRF is to rescue dogs and cats from rural shelters with high euthanasia rates and at risk situations, and as always, space is very limited. Having a pet is a lifetime commitment, and prior to trying to rehome your pet, please consider finding alternatives, such as working with a trainer, finding housing that allows pets, or making schedule changes so that you can properly care for your pet.
As we are not a county animal shelter, we cannot accept strays from the public. If you have found a dog or cat, please contact your area animal shelter and file a found reports so that they can help in finding the owner.
If you can no longer care for you pet and you adopted them from a rescue or shelter, please contact them as most require you return the animal to them if you are not able to care for them any longer
If you are looking to surrender your dog or cat to LDCRF please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a photo of the animal and information such as their age, personality and what medical care, if any, they have received.
