10,000 Tails 2009 Calendar Contest Terms and Conditions
The pet(s) entered into the contest must have been adopted from Lost Dog and Cat
Rescue Foundation between January 2001 and September 1, 2008. Pets adopted from
other rescue organizations are not eligible for participation in the contest.
All pets must still be living at the time in which the application is submitted. Deceased
pets are not eligible for entry in the contest.
All adopters must be in good standing with LDCRF and in full accordance with the
adoption contract.
Each pet may only be entered into the contest once. Additional entries will be voided.
An individual may submit multiple pets in one entry IF all pets have been adopted from
Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation; however, the entry will be evaluated based on all
pets on the application. Each pet will not be evaluated individually. An individual can
not submit an individual entry for each pet, and a second entry with all pets.
Employees and board members of LDCRF and their immediate families are not eligible
for participation in this contest.
The 10,000 Tails 2009 Calendar Contest is scheduled to begin on July 15th, 2008 and to end
on September 1st, 2008. Entrants will compete to win one of six featured spots in the
organization’s 2009 monthly calendar. Each winner will have one month dedicated to a
photo of the pet, and the pet’s tale of life since adoption. All entries must be received BY
September 7, 2008 (post-marked by September 6, 2008) to be considered.
Contestants will complete the 10,000 Tails 2009 Calendar Contest application and submit
it to LDCRF along with a photo of the pet(s). The contest entry fee is a $15 donation to
LDCRF. Cash, check or online credit card payment will all be accepted. Each pet may
only be entered into the contest one time.
Submission of an entry form grants LDCRF the right to publish, use, adapt, edit, and/or
modify such photos in any way, in any and all media, without limitation and without
consideration or compensation to the entrant.
Photos submitted will not be returned. Submissions should not include any type of video
or audio. Submissions may be placed online at www.lostdogrescue.org, or by mailing in

Entries will be evaluated on various factors, including originality, humor, and
accomplishment. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges, and winning entries will
be notified by September 15, 2008.
Photos submitted with applications will not be printed inside the calendar. Winners will
take place in a pet photo shoot, from which the photographer will select the photograph
for the calendar.
All proceeds from the calendar contest and sale of calendars will benefit Lost Dog and
Cat Rescue Foundation. The Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
charitable corporation (Tax ID 31-1789600). Contributions are tax-deductible.
