Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation is thrilled to be part of the Annual Westover Village Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by the Westover Village Civic Association.
About the Event:
Join us for a morning filled with joy, featuring a children’s Easter Egg Hunt, face painting, photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Amidst the joy and festivities, Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation will be holding a special adoption event, that promises to warm your heart.

Adoption Event Schedule:
10:30 – 11 a.m. Dogs Meet & Greet
11:00 – 11:15 a.m. Priority Interview Sign-Ups
11:15 – 12:30 p.m. Conduction of Interviews & Adoptions

1) Fill out a general adoption application on our website (this must be done before an interview is conducted) Once you arrive at the event you can also access this application by scanning the “Adoption Application QR code on the QR Code Welcome Sheet.
-You only need to submit one application, the application is NOT dog specific
-Only one application is needed. If you’ve already filled one out in the past 90 days, there’s no need to submit again.
2) Sign up for an interview with an adoption counselor.
-Access the “Interview Sign Up Form” at the event by scanning the QR code with your phone. Find the code on the Event Welcome Sheet or any Volunteers Name Badge.
3) After the priority interview sign up period (first 15 min. of the event), we will randomly select three potential adopters to interview with one of our adoption counselors.
4) Adoption counseling/interviews are conducted. (please plan on 20-30 minutes per interview)
5) If more than one adopter is approved as a match for a dog, a drawing will be held to choose the adopter. You will be notified when the drawing will be held and asked to come back to the Adoption Area for the drawing within 10 minutes. If you do not show up within 10 minutes of being notified, your name will not be included.
6) If selected, staff will finalize your adoption and answer any questions you may have.
