Unknown Learn MoreJin and Yuki are two interesting sisters and adorable, one a dilute tortie and the other a torbie. Yuki, the lighter colored one, is braver than her sister and is the first to explore new territory.
Jin is shyer, but also is also a real purr machine when she’s petted. Jin has the cutest trick: when she is hiding, she will do it with her face hidden, but most of her body clearly visible. Obviously, if she can’t see you, you can’t see her!
Of the two, Jin is the first to warm up to her “peeps” and, after the first few days, she becomes a regular at sitting with (or on!) them, purring loudly the whole time. A great sleeping buddy, she does like her food and has a great time trying to get treats out of her favorite puzzle toy. (Check out the attached video to see her moves!) Jin is also a fan of scratchers and hanging out in a cat tree, especially if it’s by the window where she can “supervise” the great outdoors. When she chats, she has a lovely trill and her markings on her neck look like a gold necklace or collar. Jin will chase her tail just for the fun of it and likes to play the Cat Fishing game on an iPad, but fully believes that the fish are hiding underneath the iPad – so she pokes her paw under it to catch them.
Both girls like to explore and play with toys and are great bed buddies, happy to curl up with you at night. They are both very gentle with excellent manners and they do love the scratching post. The pair does rely on each other for confidence so need to be adopted together.
