Unknown Learn MoreWhen Hurricane Florence was approaching North Carolina, the shelter where Lollie was living had to be evacuated. Lost Dog took her in and soon found that she was a delightful little girl who hated cages but loved life with her foster family. Unknown to Lost Dog, however, Lollie had suffered an injury to her tail. When the tail began to bother her, the vet recommended a partial amputation. The surgery was performed and Lollie suffered through the indignity of the plastic collar. She is now healed and ready for her forever home.
Lollie is playful and happy and shows no ill effects from her surgery, except for a cute bobbed tail. She loves to play with her fishing pole toy and gaze out the window from her perch on the cat tree. She is very affectionate. She loves belly rubs and her human’s lap is one of her favorite places to curl up. Lollie lives with two older cats but might prefer a younger cat who can match her youthful energy. She should also do well as an only cat. She should not be in a home with children because occasionally she will give “love bites” to her humans.
Estimated date of birth: December 2017.
