We are continually helping rural and/or overcrowded shelters by taking cats & kittens into our program to give them a chance at a home of their own. We also get returns of previously adopted cats whose owners are unable to keep them. Many of our new cats first need a foster home to decompress from a shelter environment, get used to being with a family, assess personality, or address veterinary needs. Some of our current cats need a short- or long-term break from our adoption center or animal care center, and some existing foster families need to transfer the cat(s) in their care because of travel etc.
We always need foster families! You can help us save more cats. Please contact Cats@LostDogRescue.org to get started and be matched with a foster cat.
