Unknown Learn MoreThis kitty is anything but a rascal! He is a sweet lap cat with a sad story: he was returned to the rescue when his owner developed cancer and could no longer take care of him. Rascal was understandably stressed when he arrived but has gradually relaxed in a foster home and has been showing what a total love of a kitty he is: companionable, affectionate, playful and just an all-around good buddy. The family who welcomes him into its home should expect he might be a little timid to start with but he blossoms in just a little time. Besides having a great personality, he has some pretty cool looks. He has, in addition to his tabby stripes, a surprising white stripe on his tail as well as some occasional white splashes in his dark fur. But his most notable feature has to be his great big beautiful eyes with the most interesting markings around his mouth; he kind of looks like he has been sucking on a leaking pen! Even if you are not looking for a “pen pal,” you just have to meet him to find out how special he is.
Rascal is both playful (video 1, video 2) and affectionate (video 3).
Estimated date of birth: March 2014. Approx. 11 lbs.
