Is that a horse? Nope! It’s Bella the Great Dane! Bella has that famous puppy energy and is always ready to play. You’ll notice she has a large scar on her right rear leg from a previous injury, but don’t worry – it’s fully healed and doesn’t restrict her activity at all. Every morning she races down the stairs with her foster brother Tom (a Lost Dog Rescue alum!). Then she goes outside to run some laps around the backyard before coming in for breakfast. Then it’s time to race around the yard some more! When she’s finished with her morning exercise routine, Bella settles down for a nap…until it’s time to run around the backyard again!! Her foster brother is a hound and recently taught her how to howl, so when Tom gets going she chimes right in!
Bella also has a sweet, cuddly side to compliment her energetic, playful side. Did we forget to mention she prefers to sleep in the bed next to her foster mom? Bella loves to nuzzle up next to you right before bedtime for ear scratches and belly rubs. She also knows how to sit and is fabulous in the car. Bella is also friends with the resident cat in her foster home. Don’t get us wrong, Bella is having a blast in her foster home, but what she really wants is a forever home to call her own. If you’re ready to laugh and have some fun times, adopt Bella today!
