Bruno moved to the DC area in 2017 after Hurricane Irma hit his home state of Florida. He is ready to find his forever home with people who will give him lots of love and attention. He is great with kids and friendly with dogs that he encounters on walks in his neighborhood (though he would prefer to be the only dog in the home).
Bruno is very quiet, gentle with children, and very easy to care for. He’s leash-trained and house-trained, and even knows a few tricks – he can sit, shake, lay down, roll over, and speak. He doesn’t require a ton of physical exercise, but he will chase a ball inside and loves to chew on Nylabones. He’s quite a ham when the camera comes out, as evidenced by the day he took over the We the Dogs DC Instagram account.
Bruno is very smart and loves to be around people. He is known to drag his bed (and blanket) into different rooms so that he can comfortably hang out with his humans. He is indignant that his current foster doesn’t have a large couch for him to lounge on – but he has made himself right at home anyway.
