Yes Learn MoreExperience the joy of bringing home two calm, fluffy, cuddle-bugs who sustain each other and seem to get along with most everyone they meet. Shilah and Cooper are a bonded pair of quiet, mellow, well-behaved, medium-sized, loving dogs. They have lived with each other for nine years and were turned them over to Lost Dog in April due to health circumstances with their previous owner.
Both dogs are very gentle and affectionate, readily giving and accepting attention from their humans. Shilah is most friendly towards people, while Cooper serves as the home’s protector and family guardian. Shilah enjoys meeting new people and is especially excited to say “hello” to anyone along her path who may be carrying food in hand (delivery people, neighbors carting in groceries, etc); while Cooper is more concerned with using his time on walks to stop and take in the sights (and smells!) along the way.
They are very adaptable to changing circumstances and get introduced to adults, children and other dogs with ease. Though they are medium-to-large in size, they have done well in an apartment/condo setting; enjoying their time outside spent on walks around the neighborhood or trips in the car to run errands. Neither is phased by noises from neighbors or other barking dogs, though Cooper does a great job of alerting the home when there is someone at the door or any other disturbance that seems out of place.
