Mona Leasha is a thing of beauty, and a cuddly one too! Her big, enigmatic eyes will draw you in and make it hard to look away from all the cuteness!
As her name suggests, Mona Leasha is a fan of — you guessed it — the leash because that means she is about to go on a walk, oh boy! This pretty lady is a wonderful walking companion who is happy to accompany you wherever you want to go. Mona can be leash reactive with other dogs — usually those that are bigger than her — and her foster is working with her on managing her reactivity.
Mona Leasha otherwise has a very calm, sweet demeanor and is always happy to make new friends. When you turn her loose in the yard with other dogs, she turns up the energy and runs and wrestles with the fastest of them! She is very curious about everyone and everything in her surroundings. Once she gets to know you, she likes to say hello with gentle kisses and lots of tail wagging!
This smart girl recently became potty-trained. Mona Leasha is treat motivated, which helps! She knows not to potty inside while roaming around the home but she sometimes has accidents in her crate during the work day.
Mona Leasha was recently diagnosed with a condition called “urethral sphincter incontinence” and takes a pill twice a day at mealtime to help manage her condition. This condition causes her to be a little leaky at times but she has no problem rocking a fashionable dog diaper.
While her namesake is all the way in Paris, Mona Leasha came to Lost Dog from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Will you make room in your life for this masterpiece of a dog? Come meet Mona Leasha today!
