Unknown Learn MoreRed and her sister Scarlett were rescued from a shelter in the British Virgin Islands that had been destroyed by the hurricanes. They are a bonded pair and need to stay together. Red is shy but wants to trust people. She will need some time, patience, and treats to help convince her people are safe. She may not do well in a home with young children who may startle her. Red and Scarlett like to run and play so a fenced back yard would be best for them to work off their energy. They like to chase squirrels and rabbits so a home with cats or smaller animals may not be ideal for them. They are both getting used to being petted and touched, it may take sometime before they are comfortable to cuddle or sit in your lap. They were street strays and are still working on their house training but do very well in a crate through the night. They do well walking on a leash, ride well in the car and get along with other dogs. They are a delight to have around, are silly and sweet girls.
