So far, Fiona(aka Faery) has done well here. We did our best to keep her and our resident cat separated for as long as possible but they really wanted to meet each other. She’s feisty and a total love bug. I think her and our Carl have figured out the pecking order and play well together. She chases him just as much as he chases her! I did take her to the vet at banfield and they microchipped her and said other than a little wax in her ears everything was fine. I did notice she sneezes a lot more than I’ve ever experienced with a cat, but I’m thinking she’s just getting used to the new environment. I mentioned it to the vet and he didn’t seem too concerned.
She’s tolerating our noisy household rather well and my kids adore her. She’s always snuggling with us.
She has a big appetite and is always ready to eat. We’re still trying to get a schedule for them to eat because my other cat is a food monster too. He eats pretty much anything. Aside from feeding them separately idk how to keep them from eating each other’s food. I figure as long as they’re eating, it’s all good.
I’m so glad I decided to bring her home. She’s adorable and fun and snuggly and she’s just awesome! I want to thank the volunteers that were at the Pet Smart that day for helping me adopt her same day. They went above and beyond to accommodate me and I appreciate it greatly. I’m sorry I don’t remember their names but they were all great!!
Thanks again for everything you guys do!!
Here’s a few pics too!!
